 Baby Lotion

A baby's skin is bound to get dry at some point. Baby lotion is a less greasy alternative to baby oil and moisturizes just the same. When buying baby lotion make sure the bottle says the ingredients are mild since a baby's skin is very sensitive. Also check to see if the lotion is hypoallergenic and free of dyes. One of the best times to apply baby lotion is after a bath. Simply pat your baby dry and then rub baby lotion all over to seal in the moisture. This can help prevent chafing or drying out of your baby's skin.

Aside from just moisturizing your baby's skin, baby lotion is great for massaging your baby's skin. Massaging your baby can result in a more relaxed baby and create a stronger bond between you and your baby. It is also known to help your baby sleep sounder and longer, which all parents will enjoy.
