Once your child starts to crawl it would be a good time to get some baby safety gates. Now that your child is mobile, it is going to be harder to keep up with them. Aside from providing easy access you must make sure the baby safety gate is nice and sturdy so the child cannot rip it down easily, as this would defeat the purpose of having the gate in the first place. Another feature to consider is the spacing of the holes or the slats in the safety gate. You do not want your child getting any limbs stuck in the safety gate as this could result in injury.
