 Baby Shampoo

A baby's skin is very sensitive and delicate. When choosing a baby shampoo for your little one make sure the bottle says the shampoo is recommended for use on children. You should start with a very small amount to make sure your child does not have an allergic reaction to the baby shampoo. Look for labels that say tear free on them in case the shampoo gets in your child's eyes. You also want to stay away from shampoos with heavy fragrance and other chemicals in them. Try to buy all natural baby shampoos because these are less likely to cause irritation, dryness, or rashes.

Health Tip: Understanding Cradle Cap

Babies tend to squirm around a lot when it's time for a bath. Some baby shampoo bottles have cartoon characters on them that can act as a distraction to entertain your baby while bathing. Having your child's favorite toy handy can also help keep them occupied, making bath time much easier.
