Baby
Swings
Baby swings are a great addition to a young child's collection of toys. They are ideal for infants from birth to approximately 9 months. Follow the weight restrictions that come with the swing you purchase. Some parents are concerned that the swing's movement may be too violent for their child, possibly causing brain damage, however, this is not the case. Indoor baby swings are relatively safe, as long as the child is under constant parental supervision. Make sure your child is buckled in, using seat belts that strap around the shoulders and come up from the crotch. Your child could easily slide out with just a lap belt.
Many baby swings come with nice padded seat
covers that can be easily removed and washed. This is a nice
feature, as young children are prone to spitting up easily.
Some baby swings include toy attachments and mobiles that
over hang to keep your child amused. Along with attachments,
many include soothing musical sounds and adjustable speeds
to help lull your child asleep.
