Toys
Baby toys aren't just all fun for your child. They actually help develop many valuable skills children need as they get older and assist in speeding up the learning process. There are some things to keep in mind when purchasing baby toys for your child, such as whether or not they are toxic. You also want to make sure they don't contain any small parts that could easily break off and pose as a potential choking hazard.
Your child will respond better to black and white toys during the first few months following birth. However, it is unnecessary to go overboard with the black and white toys as your child will grow out of this very quickly and most likely before your child will really start to play with them. A mobile above the crib and maybe a stuffed animal may be enough.
Once your child is ready to start playing with baby toys there are endless possibilities of toys to entertain him or her. Many of the more popular baby toys include stuffed animals or dolls, blocks with different shapes, educational toys, and video games. Children tend to respond well to toys that light up and play music as well.
