 Burp Cloths

Burp cloths are a wise investment if you enjoy keeping your clothes clean. Babies, especially in the first few months, are very prone to spitting up after feedings. A burp cloth will help to keep your clothes nice and clean in case your baby doesn't keep down all his or her food. Burp cloths are good to use not only after feedings, but anytime you are holding a baby. Babies don't spit up just after eating, it can happen anytime. Burp cloths also create a nice clean surface for your baby to rest on while you are holding him or her.

Often, burp cloths will come with bibs in a set, both being very valuable. As with bibs, there are hundreds of varieties of burp cloths. Burp cloths are typically cotton, but there are many other materials. Try to buy burp cloths that look like they will clean up easily as you will go through these very quickly. It is also a good idea to make sure you have lots of burp cloths because you're not going to want to rewash the same ones a few times a day.
