 Pack 'n Play

Pack 'n Play playards are great places for little kids to play in and not wander all over the place. They should come with mesh sides because this makes it easier to keep an eye on your baby while they're playing. These aren't just for playing though. They are perfect for when your child needs a nap. The other great thing about these is that they assemble and disassemble fairly easily, some with the push of a single button making travel very easy.

They come in a few varieties as well. There is the regular playpen style Pack 'n Play. If you have an infant you could get the bassinette style Pack 'n Play playard and some even come with changing table attachments. For parents who want something to keep their kids in while outdoors, some Pack 'n Play playards are intended for outdoor use with a tarp bottom to keep moisture out.

Keep in mind that Pack 'n Play playards are not intended to replace cribs. Also, you should never leave your child unattended while playing in one. Another thing to know is that they come with weight and height restrictions. As a general rule of thumb, if your child is able to climb out it is time to discontinue use.
